![]() Delfino Plaza is the best world and highlight of Super Mario Sunshine. Some major story elements happen in the plaza, as well as some interesting Star Sprites. The town is full of bright colors and vibrant characters that populate the square and surrounding buildings, adding some responsibility to your troubles, as well as giving a sense of accomplishment to your work. What better world than the hub itself? Delfino Plaza brought life to the game, something Peach’s Castle from Super Mario 64 lacked. Go to Pianta Village and Choose the episode titled 'Piantas in Need' and save all the Piantas and the villagers who gave you blue coins before will now give you 1-ups instead. The pristine and relaxing environment was enough to make this world place a spot so high on the list, but the interior of the hotel is where the real action can be found. Add in some more scavenger hunts and cleaning missions and you have yourself a great and interesting world.Įvery vacation island has a fancy hotel and Isle Delfino is no exception. Badass Decay: Bowser had gone from an imposing antagonist in 64 to a goofy dad with an easy final boss fight. Cleaning the village of all its goop and calming the enraged Chain Chomps is one of the more rewarding Shine Sprites in the game. The episodes here are great, and offer some of the more challenging levels in the game. Tired of all the sunshine? Pianta Village is active at night, and this is precisely when Mario is called to do his job. You can technically do Pianta village before even going to the first world which I always thought was cool. An underwater chamber is home to a giant eel, and a secret cave holds a well deserved Shine Sprite. Not sure how many people know about this or if they've figured it out themselves, but with the release of All Stars, I remembered this neat trick that I found when I played this as a kid. Ancient tunnels run through the cliffside, with secret pathways hidden within the walls. Getting To Corona Mountain You have to beat the 7th level in every different world to get to Corona mountain. A picture of a shine sprite should apear finish the picture and you will get a shine sprite. Then, go to the platform on top of the big tree and squirt the sun. Giant shells are suspended over spiraling needles that can only be accessed through timed jumps and patience. First, go to Pianta Village episode 8 Fluff festival coin hunt. So, head towards the eastern section of the level, accoring to the mayor in the middle of the area. Off the side of a secret cliff resides the world of Noki Bay. For this stage, you must cool down a heated Chain Chomp. The story of the egg over the episodes worked well, as did the Secret of the Sand Bird level. Our favorite Cataquacks make their first appearance, and the beautiful outlook onto the ocean atop the hill also makes for an enjoyable experience. ![]() With all the exotic and hectic locations that Isle Delfino offers, Gelato Beach is that one spot of peace that exits on the island. Two honeycombs consist in this area: one hanging on the structure from the starting point, and one under the tree near the Chain Chomp's bathtub.Super Mario Sunshine dealt with a heavy island and beach theme, and that is no secret at Gelato Beach. Surrounding the village on the edge of the plant are smaller trees. ![]() In the center of the village is a massive tree, apparently part of the plant. I'll be working first on simplifying the models so the DS can handle them as this is the most time consuming part and then I'll start adding stars etc. I'll be porting levels from Mario Sunshine and making new stars for them. Under the plant is a labyrinth of catwalks and giant mushrooms. Super Mario Sunshine 64 DS is a Super Mario 64 DS hack I am currently working on. Blue Coin 4 Follow the stream to the edge of the map. Blue Coin 3 Look for another red graffiti along a wall near the pond. Run and jump over to the right side where you’ll find a red graffiti M on the ceiling. Pianta Village is a series of huts built atop a massive plant overhanging a deep pit. From the bridge, jump off and hover onto the top of the climbable metal grates below Pianta Village.
